Location:They are found in the temperate and subarctic latitudes of the North Atlantic and North Pacific oceans. These sharks have even been found in the Black sea and Mediterranean sea.
Habitat: They are in temperatures from 45 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit. They are located inshore and offshore of the continental and insular shelf and upper slopes and are usually found near the bottom. Dogfish are often found in enclosed bays and estuaries.
